Oil Painting

Hello everybody!
This was done on Paint.NET, because my brother is using the computer, and has been for - Hang on - More than 5 hours. He's been on that Skype call for 5:50:[changing] and I have been waiting for it for almost 2 of those 5 hours. Anyway, I'm quite happy with the results, and with the background in 'Pencil Sketch' and the rest in 'Oil Painting', it's turned out wonderfully. Here it is!
Hopefully, you can enlarge it and see it in a better quality.
What do you think?

Alice's Adventures in wonderland

Hello everybody!
This graphic is based on the book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carrol. I recently read it on a holiday, and since I love the original Disney film so much I thought I'd try this.

Well, I hope you liked it!

DANCE Poster Collection - #1

Hello everybody!
I've decided to start doing a poster collection called DANCE, where each one has a differen't dance in it and I ask the people reading this what the dance is. Can you guess what dance this is?
I think the dress is quite good, and the hair, but the feet could be worked on. That leg there, yes, the tiny one, is supposed to have perspective. But in this painting I feel it could use a little more. But anyway, I'll give you a selection which you can pick out of.
A). Aviation (Airoplane-flying)
B). Ballet
C). Can-Can

Which dance is it?

"Carnation" with rubbish poetry

Hello everybody!
Here's a new graphic, which I finished this second!
Excuse the stupid writing; it's not the best piece of poetry I've done. Sorry that I didn't do the left hand properly, my brother really wants to use this computer so I had to finish it off quickly. Oh, and the legs are gone. I'm quite happy with the hair, but I think I should have made the shading more opaque.

Just to give you a taste of things that have been

Hello everybody!

Here are millions of my old graphics which I don't think I've posted yet. They're only the best of the bunch, and that means I do include ones with minor problems but not really bad problems.
Based on Robin Hood:
Painted over the original photograph of Emily Lynn

Featuring Prettygirl56610's MeDoll
Painted over a publicity photograph, this is my best graphic yet

Modelled by GoldCloclo123, mostly the background is being shown off here
Pieced together with pieces from the Suite Shop and a background for the Alpine Chalet

Simply playing around with puns - YUM

Painted over a photograph, in an attempt to find new, unique styles

Modelled by EmilyvLynn, made as a birthday present for Emily Lynn

A wonderful breakfast set out in a sunny Paris Penthouse

SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog, commissioned by David Lynn

I AM SO HAPPY WITH HOW THIS TURNED OUT :'-)

So? Do you like them?
Leave your feedback below, in the comments! These were all done in the past, so you can't complain at me for them being so bad. Hopefully click them to see them close up.

Love,
Isobel C. Lynn

WOOHOO! A new graphic!

Hello everyone!

I painted over an amazing Stardesign Hair thing for this, but honestly other than the shapes it's completely different. I changed as many colours and styles as possible. The background was entirely by me.
Hopefully, click the picture to see it in its full size. Do you think it's good enough to be a banner? What am I saying, anything is better than the one I have already... :-P

Sorry I didn't do anything on my schedule, but I really had no access to the computer while David's or Charlotte's hands were plastered to the mouse and keyboard. Not to mention that I couldn't find the tablet's pen. I'm going to do a post with all my favourite graphics from the past, and hopefully Charlotte will let me use it alot more. =-3 In case you couldn't tell, she's reading what I'm typing over my shoulder. That's right, I deliberately asked you to stay in the room! *Waves fist*
Anyway, I promise that I will become an artist!!

Why I haven't been posting anything

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been posting anything because the  pen for the tablet I usually use is lost, my brother got a new video game (so he uses the computer all the time) and when he's not using it, I'm doing something completely vital, I'm out or I have nothing I particularly want to do. I'm rubbish at getting inspiration, but hopefully my mother will start taking us to the library more. Walking through that part of town is so pretty, and even more so if it snows this winter. (I'm keeping my fingers crossed!)

If anyone has any suggestions, please send me a comment about it! And if anyone has an order, please comment one the graphic requests page!

O.M.GOODNESS, I'm now in France.

*Posting from France at the moment!*
Bonjour,
Ca va? Yep, I AM in France at the moment of posting this, and I will try to keep you updated with all I've done. I only just got the Internet working so I've got a whole list of things I've already done here*:

Gone on an aeroplane, again,
Went to Saint Point (Yes, I know it sounds like it's English but it's pronounced "san pwa" so THERE) Lake for swimming,
Picked mirabell-plums - you know, the little green ones - with friends,
Tasted Cliffouti,
Learnt how to swim in side-stroke,
Learnt how to swim underwater without holding my nose - PHEW what a relief; I can put my hand down now,!
Helped stone (I think it's "pit" in the USA?) mirabell-plums for jam,
Helped make mirabell pie,
And some other stuff. :-) I'll keep you up to date every evening, hopefully!

Love,
Isobel

*Order is not exactly correct.

O.M.GOODNESS! I've only posted one graphic!

Hi Everyone,
it's me again! Yes, I know I've only posted one graphic, so here's another one. It's a schedule for the graphics I'm supposed to be doing. Some which say "not yet confirmed" in the graphic may be confirmed soon in the lower list.
In case this image doesn't get bigger and you can't read it, here's the schedule* again:

THIS MONTH:
Yearbook (not yet confirmed - I haven't asked the owner of the {ROLEPLAY} academy yet)
New magazine (may not do this if I do get that job*)
Competition (confirmed - The prize is a free example graphic! (rules of purchase still apply))
SEPTEMBER:
Birthday Graphic (not confirmed - may not have time)
Birthday Grapihic (confirmed - no medolls, just a picture. For Daddy)
OCTOBER:
Birthday Graphic (confirmed)
Hallowe'en Graphic (confirmed - may contain scary fire-demon faces)
NOVEMBER:
Bonfire Night Graphic
DECEMBER:
Christmas Countdown (1st-24th)
Christmas Graphic (25th)

*This is the schedule in order of when they're being released, not of when they're being made. I might do some now, I might do some the day before I'm making them.
*I've applied for a job at HAUTE Magazine - a magazine created by one of my favourite graphic artists EVER, Lindsey Le'Vogue! - as a graphic artist and a writer, and hopefully my application will be accepted for at least one of them!

Please note I will update this with any new graphics I need to make. (i.e. If I get an order) Oh, and if I do get a job at HAUTE, I won't show you any graphics and/or articles until they're released. I'll put a link to the magazine, as well, so you can go and see it! :-D

Well, wish me luck with the magazine-thing!

Lots of Sweets,

Practise

Hi Everyone,
Above, you can probably see a picture of an ugly medoll with a pixie-cut. If you can't, click on the empty space above to see this miniscule picture in its full-size.Well, this was my practise (did I mention I'm going to do one bit of practising every other day?) for today, and I know it's rubbish but it's practise, so :-p.
Well, I haven't got much to say about this; It's really a simple thing I knocked up in less than a minute. I'm not happy with the shape, but I think the shading looks OK, not realistic, but OK.

So, what makes the hair look so rubbish? Any ideas?

I'd just like to make a few things straight...

I DO make graphics for people but I only do them if:
-The clothes requested for the model(s) are respectable (i.e. not showing off their personal parts)
-There is no violence involving humans, animals or creatures from other worlds.
-There are no swears of any form.

And, there are some things about my style of graphics which some people may find strange, so I'd like to explain that:
I am not supportive of the "super-skinny" idea, so you will not be able to see the collarbones and neck-bones mostly, except for if the model's head is turned (because otherwise it would make it seem as if she had no bones at all.) And this does not mean all the models will be plump, it just means that they are healthy and they've eaten in the past three months. Thanks for understanding that.

I will put up the prices for graphics now (I did put them all on an earlier Wordpress blog of mine, but I will have to update them) so by the time you are reading this I will most probably have finished putting them up. They will be in an extra page, so please remember to check.

Welcome!

Hello, everyone! I'm Isobel, and I've created this blog because I needed a place to store all my graphics. This inspired the title, Magic Peanut Bag. Because, if you think about it, my graphics are like peanuts and my blog is the bag to store them in, so they don't get lost. The reason it's a magic peanut bag is because I do so many graphics that it would have to be a magic peanut bag to store them all!

But anyway, onto the information about my graphics:
I paint them on Photoshop CS5 (currently, anyway) but I can do them on Paint and Paint.NET, but not as easily and the quality is not the same. I'm currently working on a good banner for my blog, so please check back in a few days. :-)

Love,
Isobel
